Your customs goods in a bonded warehouse

Instead of clearance of the goods upon arrival in the EU, Rotra can also store them in a bonded warehouse (customs warehouse). Goods can be stored in a bonded warehouse without having to pay import duties and VAT.

In case the buyer/consignee is located outside the EU, the goods can be transported customs bonded (T1) from the warehouse to the country where the buyer is located. In this way customs duties and import VAT are only paid in the country of destination and double payment is avoided.
