How does Rotra Green Footprint work?

When you choose sustainability with Rotra Green Footprint, a small sustainability fee is charged for each shipment. This fee goes directly to Anthesis to invest in high-quality climate projects. Think of solutions that really make an impact, such as reforestation and clean energy projects. We have chosen to invest in the science-based and certified Oxford Principles projects.

Rotra Green Footprint can be used for both your global ocean freight and air freight shipments. Regardless of destination or shipment size. Indicate which of your shipments you want to make sustainable.
Based on destination, modality and weight of the shipment, the emissions of your shipment(s) are calculated. All your emissions are transparent for you in rotraNext. The emissions are converted into a sustainability fee that is paid to the certified Oxford Principles projects. As a result, your net emissions from your shipments are reduced to zero.
As a participant you will annually receive an official compensation certificate with an overview of the number of compensated CO₂-kilos. Great to use in mandatory reporting and to share with your stakeholder.
